AI-WASP programme

Patria leads an industry consortium for the new joint Artificial Intelligence Warfare Adaptive Swarm Platform (AI-WASP) programme, which will develop a new generation, scalable and cognitive (AI-controlled) multifunctional software defined converged aperture and transceiver (AIMA).

FAMOUS programme

Improving the mobility and performance of land troops is a major priority in the long-term development of defence in the EU countries. To meet these needs, the joint European Future Highly Mobile Augmented Armoured Systems (FAMOUS) programme is developing the technologies, performance and ground combat capabilities of future armoured vehicles. Finland is the lead nation and Patria is the industrial coordinator of FAMOUS.

• Programme starts in early 2024, lasting until end of 2028
• Programme’s overall budget is approximately 85M€
• +30 partner companies in the eALLIANCE ecosystem
• Estimated +200M€ increase in combined R&D expenditure during the programme
