Patria is one of Finland’s most interesting and attractive employers among students and the employed, reveals the 2011 Employer Image survey by Talentum. Patria is one of the 15 best-known enterprises, and the 14th most attractive employer among students. Among students of technology, it is in 11th place.

‘We have succeeded in remaining attractive by offering challenging positions in an intriguing field. In 2011, we have so-far received a considerable number of excellent applications for our 99 vacancies on offer’, comments Terhi Nieminen, Head of Human Resources at Patria.

According to the survey, employees appreciate good management, a permanent job and challenging duties. Students prioritise an interesting line of business, payment for all hours worked and career prospects.

Talentum’s employer image survey analysed the images of various companies, and their attractiveness as employers, among Finnish professional and managerial employees and students at the final stages of their studies. Employer images have been monitored since 1995. Over one thousand (1,021) professional and managerial employees with a technical, business, social or legal qualification, and slightly under 900 (895) students replied to the 2011 survey.

The survey was conducted by Kuulas Millward Brown in March–April 2011 and commissioned by Talentum Media Oy.
