Patria finalized employee cooperation negotiations in Sastamala - Talks for a solution continue

Employee cooperation negotiations concerning Patria's Land Business Unit's Sastamala operations have been finalised. Negotiations did not result any solutions for continuation of the operations in Sastamala. As the Finnish Defence Forces' orders reduce heavily the current order backlog is finished by the end of summer causing the closure of the site and termination of employment of all personnel there by the end of this year. Production in Sastamala consists of heavy ammunition and their shelves mainly for the Finnish Defence Forces employing 23 people.

Even though the situation is difficult, further talks for a solution continue with the different parties. Objective is to find a way to retain the production and employments in Sastamala.
