Patria at SecD-Day Event 2025

Patria exhibits a wide range of its state-of-the-art offering, which is divided into three branches – Protected mobility and defence systems, Through life capability and Battlefield and critical systems.

Patria’s Protected mobility and defence systems

Patria AMV XP 8x8 is state of the art, modular and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing superior fire power, protection and mobility. AMV XP 8x8 is available in two different hull lengths and heights. The vehicle is also available with amphibious capability. This makes AMV XP 8x8 ideal platform for various missions and variants, such as Infantry Fighting Vehicle, Armoured Personnel Carrier, Command and Control, Ambulance Vehicle, Recovery Vehicle and 120 mm NEMO mortar system.

Patria 6x6 vehicle is modular and high-performance, while simple, robust and affordable to provide protected tactical troop transport capability in larger fleet quantities. It provides modern protection capability and high mobility. Patria 6x6’s modular design allows a wide variety of specific configurations for diverse missions, such as Armoured Personnel Carrier, Company Command vehicle, Medical Evacuation vehicle, Heavy APC and 120 mm Patria Nemo mortar system.  

With 6x6 Patria provides ultimate security of supply via technology transfer program, local manufacturing concept, and through-life support together with local partners.

Patria 6x6 vehicle is the selected the platform for the multinational CAVS programme currently joined by Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Germany. Patria 6x6 deliveries are ongoing to Latvia, Finland and Sweden, and vehicles are in operational use. Patria has already received orders for over 800 Patria 6x6 vehicles. The programme is open to European countries. 

Patria TREMOS is a mobile version of traditional mortar responding to the need of current and future warfighting requiring enhanced mobility, firepower and accuracy. With its integration module it can be integrated to various types of vehicles. It can utilize existing mortar tube, ammunition and ballistic tables. Patria TREMOS provides robust and cost-effective solution to modernize high firepower smoothbore mortars with enhanced accuracy. 

Through life capability offering

Patria OPTIME covers a broad range of services and solutions impacting the fleet availability, such as fleet maintenance, upcoming modification projects and needed integrations in the later stages of the lifecycle as well as supply chain management and training services. The new service concept for the sustainment of military equipment combines engineering expertise with efficient data utilization in a modular and tailored way and it is set up in phases together with the customer.

Battlefield and critical systems

Patria MUSCL is a passive radar system providing resilient, covert and easily deployable air surveillance in standalone mode as well as in networked mode using multiple MUSCL stations. The system provides operational relevancy in various applications such as air surveillance, early warning, border control and critical infrastructure protection by detecting, locating and tracking silently full-range of aerial threats in modern battlefield including also the stealth ones.

SecD-Day was organised by Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries – PIA for the first time in Helsinki in the spring of 2023. The second edition of the conference and exhibition will be held at Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre (Messukeskus).
