Patria’s sheet metal operations to be transferred to Patricomp
Patria Aerostructures Oy has finalised the actions allowing it to concentrate on advanced composite structures. Patria Aerostructures Oy’s pressure bulkhead business including its assets and co-operation agreements will be transferred to Patricomp Oy as of 1 December 2007.
11 of Patria Aerostructures Oy’s employees will be employed by Patricomp Oy with the current terms and conditions.
"This agreement is a continuation to the outsourcing model started in 2006 which enables Patria’s Aerostructures Business Unit to focus on its core competence area; design and manufacturing of advanced composite structures”, says Executive Vice President Seppo Seppälä from Patria.
Patricomp Oy locates in Jämsä and the main owner is KMM-Invest Oy. The company is specialised in sheet metal production and contract manufacturing. In 2006 Patria Aerostructures Oy’s other sheet metal work together with the surface treatment were transferred to Patricomp Oy, which is an important subcontracting partner to Patria.
