Patria and Kongsberg signed an agreement related to the Finnish Defence Force’s air defence missile system project

Patria and Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace AS have today signed an agreement related to the Finnish Defence Force’s medium range air defence missile system project. Value of the agreement is approximately EUR 36 million.

In the air defence missile project focusing on the defence of the metropolitan area Patria will be responsible for manufacturing and assembling of the launchers. Patria will also participate in the system integration. The agreement strengthens Patria’s role as a leading domestic system integrator.

The employment effect of approximately 90 man-years will be mainly in Patria’s Systems and Land & Armament Business Units in Tampere, Sastamala and Hämeenlinna.
