Patria and St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation signed a new agreement on pilot training for 2010 on 12 May 2010. The agreement covers training of 23 students.

Patria and St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation have since 2009 successfully deployed a joint project which aims at integrating the elementary and advanced training programmes of Russian civil aviation pilots into the international training system. The goal of the project is to guarantee high level flight safety by developing the vocational skills of the students.

St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation is one of the Aviation specialised Universities in Russia. Over 6 000 students are enrolled in eleven different degree programs and in nine different post-graduate degree programs. St. Petersburg University of Civil Aviation offers university level instruction in international air transportation, aviation management, air traffic management, human behaviour, engineering studies and management training among other things.

Patria Training provides elementary and advanced pilot training for civil aviation pilots and the main product of the school is professional pilot training.  In the military pilot training, Patria has reached excellent results in the elementary pilot training under contract for the Finnish Air Force (phase I - II training for conscripts, cadets and flight instructors).
