In its decision issued today, 17 February 2016, the Turku Court of Appeal has overturned the earlier judgment by the District Court and dismissed all bribery charges related to the Croatian export project. The Prosecutor General charged two former Patria employees with aggravated bribery, suspected to have taken place in 2005–2008. In addition, the prosecution demanded that a corporate fine be imposed on Patria Land Services Oy. The state was ordered to compensate Patria for legal costs and the prolonged trial.

"The Court of Appeal's decision was as expected. We consider the decision justified, both judicially and in light of the evidence. Patria has no cause for appealing against the judgment. We will now review the grounds of the decision in detail,” says General Counsel Hanna Kyrki.
