Patria Pilot Training will continue as a training partner of the Finnish Aviation Academy at its new training base at Tampere-Pirkkala Airport. Patria will be responsible for flight and theoretical training of 20 cadets to obtain a commercial pilot licence. Multi-Crew Cooperation and Airline Transport Pilot theoretical training will be provided by the Finnish Aviation Academy. Beginning in summer 2017, the training provided by Patria will last 18 months. Finnish Aviation Academy will select the cadets for the training. The training will provided with Patria´s new fleet of Diamond trainer aircraft and flight simulators, purchased this year.

The new and economical Diamond fleet will be operational at the same time as the cadets of the Finnish Aviation Academy will begin their training.
