Patria's Engines Unit in Linnavuori celebrates its 70 year heritage on June 2017
Patria's Engines Unit, part of the Aviation Business Unit, celebrates its 70 year heritage this year. Linnavuori Engines Unit is a significant part of Patria's history but has played an important role in the Finnish aviation history as well.
Today this unit, still located in Linnavuori, is an internationally operating modern unit with high expertise in several types of aerospace engines, their modules, accessories, parts and services. Engines Unit also provides maintenance, overhaul and repair services for high-speed marine and industrial diesel engines.
"Linnavuori unit and its personnel represents the top know-how in this field. This unit is an integral part of life cycle support services, which are continuously developed in Patria, by for example the development of new repair methods," says Martti Wallin, President of the Aviation Business Unit.
