Patria and SIMA INNOVATION have agreed on cooperation to offer merged capabilities for customers on a global scale

Patria and SIMA INNOVATION (SIMA) have entered into an agreement for the companies to jointly promote their merged capabilities on a global scale, leveraging their combined expertise to attract new business opportunities. The contract includes efforts to create joint presentations, demonstrations, and participation in industry events to showcase the integrated solutions offered by Patria and SIMA.
“SIMA’s mission to supply products to armoured vehicles that enhance improving personnel’s operational capabilities and personal security under difficult and risky conditions aligns perfectly with Patria’s goal to provide its customers with superior solutions, thereby enhancing their operational effectiveness. One example of our products’ first-class fit is the SIMA ring mount which has already been showcased on the Patria 6x6 vehicle on multiple occasions”, says Mikko Karppinen, Senior Vice President, Protected Mobility and Defence Systems of Patria.
“Security of supply and geographical nearness are crucial, especially now when strengthening Nordic and European defence forces is paramount. Delivering flexible, modular, proven, and upgradable solutions that ensure interchangeability and interoperability is essential. The cooperation between Patria and SIMA Innovation exemplifies how Nordic defence industries contribute to strengthening our Nordic and European allies”, says Niels Thorup, CEO of SIMA INNOVATION.
