Seppo Kolehmainen appointed as Patria’s Vice President, Public Safety
Seppo Kolehmainen (MA; M.Pol.Sc; LL.Lic.) has been appointed as Vice President, Public Safety of Patria as of 1 January, 2025. He will report to Jussi Järvinen, Patria’s Executive Vice President, Finland Division.
Seppo Kolehmainen has an extensive experience in policing, having worked in the field for over 40 years. He served as National Police Commissioner in 2015-2024, retiring of service in September 2024. Kolehmainen has worked on various executive, expert, and other positions in the National Police Board, Helsinki Police Department, the National Traffic Police, the police academies, and the police department of the Ministry of the Interior.
