Patria participates in the International Armoured Vehicles Conference (IAVC) 21-23 January 2025 held in, Farnborough International Exhibition Centre. The annual conference has earned a reputation as the world’s premier international meeting ground for all elements of the armoured community. IAVC has established itself among the world’s Armies, Marine Corps, procurement officials, and industry representatives as the unbiased quality forum to focus solely upon land vehicles and force protection.

In the conference, Patria highlights its protected mobility and defence systems offering.
Special attention is given to Patria’s new tracked vehicle and Patria 6x6 based CAVS (Common Armoured Vehicle System) both examples of international, modern and cost-effective vehicle system development programmes created between allied nations, in which Patria acts as prime contractor for system development. With Patria’s future-proof vehicles, defence and weapon systems the customers can take their missions to new heights.

PROTECTED MOBILITY AND DEFENCE SYSTEMS
FAMOUS concept vehicle
Based on the EDIDP FAMOUS concept results and EDF FAMOUS 2 cooperative development work, Patria introduced tracked concept vehicle at Eurosatory 2024. The new protected tracked vehicle system provides overwhelming tactical and operational mobility in the most demanding weather, soft soil and extreme harsh terrain conditions. This new tracked vehicle will be a breakthrough; a modern cost-effective alternative for traditionally articulated vehicles and light tracked vehicles.
Patria 6x6 vehicle is modular and high-performance, while simple, robust and affordable to provide this tactical capability in larger fleet quantities. It provides modern protection capability and high mobility. Patria 6x6’s modular design allows a wide variety of specific configurations for diverse missions. It is built on the heritage of Patria’s iconic armoured wheeled vehicles that has been used in various peacekeeping and crises management missions transporting soldiers around the world through several decades.
Patria 6x6 vehicle is the selected the platform for the multinational CAVS programme currently joined by Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Germany. Patria 6x6 deliveries are ongoing to Latvia, Finland and Sweden, and vehicles are in operational use. Patria has already received orders for nearly 750 Patria 6x6 vehicles. The programme is open to European countries.
Patria AMV XP 8x8 vehicle is a state-of-the-art modular, and robust armoured wheeled vehicle providing superior fire power, protection, and mobility. Combat proven AMV family has gained experience from various operations and has become the trusted solution for protecting nations and their soldiers. Patria AMV XP is a cost effective and future proof solution for arising demands where sovereignty is at stake.
Patria NEMO is a turreted, lightweight and remote-controlled 120 mm mortar system with a high level of mobility, protection and accuracy. Patria NEMO is capable of both direct and indirect fire, even when the platform is moving. Patria NEMO features modular design and therefore it guarantees maximum flexibility and capability for further growth for diverse requirements to meet the specific needs of modern warfare and threats in a changing environment. Patria NEMO can be used for self-defence and various indirect fire missions. Impressive fire support and rapid response with high crew protection – all in one.
Patria TREMOS is a mobile version of traditional mortar responding to the need of current and future warfighting requiring enhanced mobility, firepower and accuracy. With its integration module it can easily be fitted on various types of vehicles. It can utilize existing mortar tube, ammunition and ballistic tables.
THROUGH LIFE CAPABILITY
Patria OPTIME covers a broad range of services and solutions impacting the fleet availability, such as fleet maintenance, upcoming modification projects and needed integrations in the later stages of the lifecycle as well as supply chain management and training services. The new service concept for the sustainment of military equipment combines engineering expertise with efficient data utilization in a modular and tailored way and it is set up in phases together with the customer.
BATTLEFIELD AND CRITICAL SYSTEMS
Patria MUSCL is passive radar system providing resilient, covert and easily deployable air surveillance in standalone mode as well as in networked mode using multiple MUSCL stations. The system provides affordable area and point surveillance for various applications such as military air surveillance, border control, critical infrastructure protection and drone detection.
