Patria at Nordic Defence Industry Seminar 2024
Patria participates in NDIS 2024 conference and exhibition on 17 – 19 September at Sundvolden, Norway. The event is arranged by the Norwegian Ministry of Defence, the Norwegian Defence Materiel Agency, The Norwegian Armed Forces and the Norwegian Defence and Security Industries Association, FSi. NDIS is organized within the framework of the Nordic Defence Cooperation (NORDEFCO).
At the event Patria exhibits its vehicles involved in multinational collaboration programmes CAVS (Common Armoured Vehicle System) and FAMOUS (Future Highly Mobile Augmented Armoured System). Patria stand location is D103.

Extreme conditions embedded - Patria’s key offering at NDIS 2024
Patria 6x6 vehicle is modular and high-performance, while simple, robust and affordable to provide protected tactical troop transport capability in larger fleet quantities. It provides modern protection capability and high mobility. Patria 6x6’s modular design allows a wide variety of specific configurations for diverse missions, such as Armoured Personnel Carrier, Company Command vehicle, Medical Evacuation vehicle, Heavy APC and 120 mm Patria Nemo mortar system.
Patria 6x6 vehicle is the selected the platform for the multinational CAVS (programme currently joined by Finland, Latvia, Sweden and Germany. Patria 6x6 deliveries are ongoing to Latvia, Finland and Sweden, and vehicles are in operational use. Patria has already received orders for nearly 700 Patria 6x6 vehicles with approximately 200 delivered to customers. The programme is open to European countries to join.
FAMOUS concept vehicle
Based on the EDIDP (European Defence Industrial Development Programme) FAMOUS concept results and European Defence Fund FAMOUS 2 cooperative development work, Patria introduced tracked concept vehicle at Eurosatory. The new protected tracked vehicle system provides overwhelming tactical and operational mobility in the most demanding weather, soft soil and extreme harsh terrain conditions. This new tracked vehicle will be a breakthrough; a modern cost-effective alternative for traditionally articulated vehicles and light tracked vehicles.
